AHP-1000 INTRODUCTION TO THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS AND THE APPLICATION PROCESS
This course is intended for students interested in pursuing admission to healthcare professional graduate programs. This course will provide information on how students can begin to prepare for being a healthcare professional and applying to health graduate programs. Students will become familiar with the healthcare competencies and learn how to use as the framework of their application to professional programs and evaluate their readiness. The course will help students identify a career path (MD/DO,PA,DDS), develop a personal mission statement, evidence of the core competencies and a school list.
