ENGL1002 HUMAN COMMUNICATION
Of all the things that human beings do, communication may be the most complicated. This is a cross between an academic course and a speech course, combining theory and practice, and borrowing information and ideas from the disciplines of psychology, sociology, history, and cultural anthropology. Major topics includes differences in communication styles, non-verbal skills, and the art of persuasion.
