Professional Licensure, Registration, or Certification

In the AS radiation therapy program, students learn to interact with patients, interpret and administer treatments, apply principles of radiation safety and operate radiation equipment. Programs that have earned approval from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) meet professional standards. At the completion this approved program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national ARRT registry exam. Once registered, graduates may seek to obtain licensure that may be required to work in specific states.
