MLT-2200 COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW
This course completes the didactic portion of the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program. Major concepts from all subject areas are reviewed in detail. Guest speakers are scheduled as available and students participate in activities to prepare for the Board of Certification exam and job search after graduation. Students participate in a simulated laboratory work environment each week and may have the opportunity to shadow in a live clinical laboratory setting. Emphasis is placed on proper technique and organization, application of quality control principles, and review of technical information. Clinical training experience locations are assigned during this trimester. This course must be taken during the final term before the student begins the clinical training experience.

This course must be taken during the final term before the clinical training experience is begun.
