BIOL-3000 HUMAN GENETICS: EXPRESSION, INHERITANCE, DISEASE, AND TREATMENT

This course covers gene and chromosome structure, function, and processes, variation, polymorphism, the relationship between genotype and phenotype, and the consequences of genetic mutation.  The course will examine inheritance in humans (both normal and disease).  Areas of interest will be molecular biology techniques as a diagnostic tool and genetic counseling.
