MLT-2150 CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY 2

This course provides further study of microbial agents of infection, focusing on common or significant species of fungi, parasites, and viruses. Laboratory exercises focus on identification of common fungal and parasitic organisms, in addition to reviewing and providing more advanced techniques in the identification of clinically significant bacterial species. Emphasis is placed on safety and quality control in all laboratory sessions.
