University Student Handbook

Children in Instructional Settings

In order to maintain an atmosphere conducive to teaching and learning, children under the age of sixteen will not be permitted in the classrooms, laboratories or clinics during instructional periods. If a child is brought into the classroom, instructors should remind students of the policy and request that the child be taken out.

If a student fails to comply with the request of the instructor, the matter should be referred to the Office of Student Affairs.
