Master of Health Science in Integrative Care Degree

 

Course Requirements


Students must complete 15 core credits, as well as 15 elective credits in one of three areas of specialization:

Option 1: Trauma Informed Integrative Care

This track is built for practitioners, educators, and others who want to better understand how psychological trauma affects people both mentally and physically. You’ll learn to adopt a trauma informed approach and explore relevant topics such as the impact of culture and socioeconomic aspects on health, trauma and addiction, and the mind-body connection.

Option 2: Integrative Coaching

This track prepares you to enter the growing field of health coaching. You’ll learn to support clients in making integrative lifestyle changes and living healthier lives. Our curriculum is a National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) approved training program and completers are eligible to sit for the board exam to become a NBC-HWC certified health coach. 

Option 3: Integrative Healthcare Administration

This track gives practitioners and administrators the skills and knowledge needed to be leaders in the healthcare industry. Learn how to communicate your ideas, gain support within your organization, and ultimately transform healthcare.

Graduation Requirements

The Master of Health Science in Integrative Care Degree is granted to those candidates who have:

  1. Completed the required 30-credit curriculum, including the Capstone project;
  2. Earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better;
  3. Fulfilled all financial obligations to the University
