HAS-6320 PUBLIC & PREVENTIVE HEALTH

This course is an introduction to public health and the role of the chiropractor as a primary care provider within the public health system. Discussion topics include the individual, community and systems approach to prevention, epidemiology, genetics, social, behavioral, biomedical and environmental sciences, health policy and management. This course requires collaboration and consists of online assessments, group projects, synchronous and asynchronous lectures.
