MLT-1150 CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY 1
This course provides an in-depth study of infectious disease caused by bacterial organisms, including Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Neisseria, Enterobacteriaceae, Spirochetes, Anaerobes, and other miscellaneous bacteria. Laboratory procedures focus on safety, quality control, and common identification techniques such as Gram staining, bacterial culture, rapid testing, biochemical profiles, and assessment of antimicrobial susceptibility.
