HPC-3001 COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
This course imparts knowledge and skills related to personal and professional communication. Assignments with involve writing, public speaking, and graphic design. We will spend a lot of time discussing how humans communicate, drawing upon fields such as sociology, psychology, and cultural anthropology. Topics will include body language, how communication is affected by context, and difference in communication styles. Above all the course will focus on rhetoric, the art of persuasion.
