MEDA-1170 PHARMACOLOGY 2
This course continues and complements Pharmacology MEDA1150 by promoting a basic understanding of pharmacology, calculations for children and adult dosages, common equivalencies, drug abbreviations, sources and schedules; the use of pharmacology references; drug administration; and the importance of accuracy and safety when dealing with medications. Additionally, this course adds to the understanding of the effects of pharmacology for multisystem application and medications related to body systems. Common signs and symptoms of disease as well as common side effects of medications are covered as they relate to body systems.
