Professional Licensure, Registration, or Certification

Students enrolled in the AS in Radiation Therapy program learn to interact with patients, interpret and administer treatments, apply principles of radiation safety, and operate radiation therapy equipment. Programs that have earned accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) meet professional standards. Upon completion of this accredited program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national ARRT registry exam. Once registered, graduates may seek to obtain licensure that may be required to work in specific states.
