BSC-7401 PATHOLOGY 1

This course will examine the concepts and mechanisms associated with pathology fundamentals, including cellular adaptations and responses to stress, cellular injury and death, inflammation, tissue repair, and the development of neoplasms. In addition, this course discusses the pathogenesis of diseases and their associated clinical manifestations, symptoms, risk factors, preventative measures, and treatments. It emphasizes diseases and conditions related to the immune, musculoskeletal, and endocrine systems, genetics, and environment and nutrition imbalances.
