ENG-1001 ENGLISH COMPOSITION
This course will focus on developing writing skills through clear and effective argumentative writing and practicing the writing process. Topics reviewed include writing effective and well-organized papers, conducting research, evaluating sources, utilizing sources in research-based writing, applying APA formatting and citation, and grammar and mechanics. The focus will be on clarity and effectiveness in communicating a clear argument with one's audience. This course is considered a Communications General Education course.
