CLE-5400 PATIENT INTERACTIVE SKILLS & CLINICAL EXPECTATIONS
The purpose of this course is to prepare students for clinical internship, ensuring that they have the diagnostic acumen, communication skills and knowledge of clinical procedure necessary for the proper care of patients within the Northwestern clinical system. A strong emphasis is placed on patient interviewing, clinical documentation, legal compliance, recognition of biomedical red flags and emergency interventions.
