Smoking
is prohibited on all NWHSU grounds; this includes e cigarettes.
Food and beverages
are prohibited in the Library and as noted in classrooms. For safety reasons, they are absolutely prohibited in all laboratories.
Attitudes
can be difficult to evaluate. Faculty has established performance criteria that reflect attitudes. Students are evaluated with regard to these performance criteria in the areas of professionalism and interpersonal relationship skills. If the student has a misunderstanding with anyone, including instructors, it is best to talk with that person about the misunderstanding.
School closings
are at the discretion of the institution and will be announced via the campus alert system and/or on major radio and television stations.
Faculty office hours
will be posted in each course syllabus. Please feel free to make appointments with faculty members as needed.
Parking
is available in the designated lots. DO NOT park in visitor parking spaces.
Children of students are not allowed
to attend lectures, labs or clinic rotations. If a student brings their child to lecture/lab/clinic the student will be asked to leave the classroom.
