CFS-6000 INTEGRATIVE BIOLOGY OF HUMAN HEALTH AND DISEASE 1
This course explores the levels of organization in human biology and their relevance to health and disease. Students will gain insight into the chemical, cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, organism, and population levels, and how these levels interact to maintain homeostasis or contribute to pathological conditions. Through lectures, laboratory work, and case studies, students will begin to develop a holistic perspective on the workings of the human body and the factors influencing health at both individual and population scales
