CFS-6100 INTEGRATIVE BIOLOGY OF HUMAN HEALTH & DISEASE 2
This course continues the exploration of the levels of organization in human biology and their relevance to health and disease. Students will focus on the lower extremity, lumbar region of the body, energy production and metabolism as they gain an in depth understanding of the integration of the macro, micro, and molecular levels of organization and how these levels interact to maintain homeostasis or respond to pathological conditions. Cases studies are used to develop a holistic perspective on the patient presentation and the biological factors influencing health and healing.
