Clinical Work While Enrolled

Performing clinical work while enrolled as a student in Medical Assisting Program
Students may be employed in clinic settings and need to be aware of the following regulations.  These are examples of actions that constitute misconduct for which students may be sanctioned:

1. Representing oneself as a graduate of the Northwestern Health Sciences University prior to program completion
2. Representing oneself as a certified or licensed medical assistant prior to completing the program and passing the certification or registration exam.
