Advisory Board Guidelines:
The purpose of the Advisory Board is to provide a mutual exchange of information for improving the program, recruiting qualified students, and meeting employment needs of the community.
Student Advisors:
Students will be assigned a faculty member to be their advisor. At this point, the program director will be the advisor throughout the course of their didactic experience at NWHSU. The student is expected to utilize the advisor as a resource person during their progression through the program.
Medical Assisting Program Mission Statement
The mission of this program is to prepare students to work in a healthcare environment as part of a professional team dedicated to providing top-quality medical care. Graduates will have demonstrated personal and technical skills to become dedicated, knowledgeable, professional, and ethical care givers who demonstrate the utmost respect and concern for the well-being of the patients and families the serve.
