Probelm Resolution

Clinical Training Problem Resolution

  • The institution is responsible for problem resolution of student related issues.
  • Students may be temporarily or permanently removed from the clinical training site.
  • Upon notification either by the clinical instructor or by the student, an investigation will be conducted to determine if corrective actions needed and/or necessary.
  • Students leaving or refusing to return to a clinical site pending or prior to completion of an investigation will be subject to disciplinary action.

Actions may include but are not limited to:

  • No action, placement at a different clinical site if one is available, refer to the disciplinary process outlined in NWHSU Student handbook, Remediation, Removal from the clinical site, Probation, Suspension, Dismissal, Failure of that portion of clinical training
  • NWHSU program faculty will conduct follow-up evaluations as necessary.
  • The Radiologic Technology Program is under no obligation to provide students a clinical site following removal or the student’s unauthorized withdrawal from the clinical affiliate.
